Guest Access
Guests have access to their booked accommodation and designated shared facilities, including the swimming pool, outdoor decks, entertainment areas, and communal kitchen facilities.
The communal kitchen is equipped with a water dispenser, small refrigerator, and cooking appliances for guests who wish to prepare their own meals or make coffee and tea.
Please note that some areas of the property may be shared with other guests and the owners.
Payment Terms & Conditions
Deposit & Payment Schedule
- 50% deposit: Required to secure your booking dates.
- Remaining 50%: Payable upon arrival or no later than one week before arrival.
Please ensure that your payment schedule is confirmed with the property when making your reservation.
Accepted Payment Methods
Payment via Wise (formerly TransferWise) or international bank transfer is preferred. Payments in Indonesian Rupiah may also be accepted, subject to confirmation.
Foreign banknotes that are damaged or unsuitable for exchange may be refused.
Deposit & Booking Changes
- Non-refundable deposit: The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable.
- Booking transfers: If you cannot travel, you may request to transfer your booking to another person, subject to approval.
- Date changes: Requests to change your booking dates are subject to availability and confirmation by the property.

Travel Insurance

Power Supply & Internet
Simeulue is a remote island, so occasional power outages lasting several hours may occur. For guest convenience, backup power and satellite internet are available. These facilities can be particularly useful for guests who need to work online during their stay, although power and connectivity may vary during outages.
Flying with Surfboards
Airline baggage rules and fees for surfboards vary. According to our current travel guidance, transporting a surfboard by air may cost approximately IDR 1,000,000 per board, subject to airline confirmation and applicable baggage policies.
Surfboard baggage may require separate arrangements with Wings Air and may not be included in a standard purchased baggage allowance.
For a more economical alternative, we can help arrange ferry shipping through our ground crew in Medan. Surfboards shipped by ferry typically arrive around the day after the guest, although timing is not guaranteed.
Our ground crew at Medan Airport may also provide meet-and-greet assistance, airport check-in support, and help arranging surfboard transport by plane or ferry for an additional fee. Please request this service in advance.
Alcohol Policy
Duty-free alcohol is permitted within the applicable limit of 2.25 litres per person, provided it is carried in properly sealed duty-free bags. Consumption is permitted only within the property’s premises.

Local Customs & Dress Code
Simeulue is part of Aceh Province, where local customs and Islamic social norms should be respected.
Guests are asked to dress modestly in public areas and when visiting local villages. For women, loose-fitting clothing that covers the chest is recommended. Men should wear at least a singlet or shirt when outside the property.
For surfing and swimming in areas where local customs apply, guests should wear a singlet or shirt with shorts rather than a bikini. Bikinis may be worn within the property’s permitted private areas or when visiting uninhabited islands where no local communities are present.
Public displays of affection should be limited to culturally appropriate gestures, such as holding hands. Kissing and cuddling in public should be avoided.
