Our friendly staff will welcome you at the airport and drive you to the Surfcamp and you’ll be ready to enjoy our little paradise, let us know if you also want “meet and greet service” we can organize for you in Medan Airport. For Fly with your board it will cost Rp. 1 Milion / Board and for cheaper options we also can organize our crew to ship your board by ferry, and board ussually arrive the day after you arrive, and before that feel free to use our board on in shed, if you want this service let us know so we can have our crew meet you on arrival or in your medan hotels.

Or you are adventurer and want check Sumatera Island Coast Line and have lots time you can take ferry from calang, meulaboh, labuhan haji, tapaktuan and singkil. Just ask us about the ferry schedule and your plan. We also can help you book the private room with Air Conditioner in the ferry or you can go cheaper with economic/vip ticket.

The large majority of the people on Simeulue are Muslim. Mosques dominate the small villages and it is not uncommon to pass through local festivals and celebrations on your wave explorations. The people are very friendly and welcoming and can generally lend a helping hand in finding waves. Women will be respectfully asked to dress moderately and avoid bikinis or go topless on the beach as it can offend local people. But feel free wear your favorite swimwear in our pool or inside our property since it fully fence and secure or when u do island hopping to inhabitat island where no locals around. When you go around the village a beautiful sarong will do a trick.

In 2015 Simeulue get reward from Indonesian Health Ministry and Acehnese Government as city/town which success eliminated malaria. I m as the owner and also work as health worker for local community almost never meet malaria case. But for your own comfort while you our door mosquito repellent will help and we have natural one on our place which you can use for free or bring your own. And our building design and seal properly from insect and other wild life for our guests convinience.

No you can’t. And ATM’s in the island not work for foreign cards. We recomended you bring cash in Indonesian Rupiah from Medan Airport Atm’s or another way transfer to us via “Transfer Wise ” and we will give you cash just in case emergency.
